Our Mission
Coinfish Capital Advisors helps small businesses get ready before they seek funding from any lender. We organize the financials, plans and credit picture that position a business for capital and new opportunities, so it shows up prepared, not hopeful.
I spent my lending career on the lender's side, reviewing business credit requests and helping owners who weren't ready yet get there. Today I work only as an advisor.
- 24 years in credit and lending, including 13 years of SBA 7(a) and 504 lending
- CDFI lending at TruFund Financial Services (2017–2025): managed a loan portfolio of about $20 million, including a contractor financing program I grew to about $8 million
- Construction and contractor lending: mobilization, working capital, and equipment for contractors and suppliers
- 12 years in investment and financial markets, including prior work on SBLC-backed small business credit
- Prior credit approval authority up to $10 million (in past lender roles) and years on loan committees
- CECL, portfolio management, and credit policy
- Economic Development Finance Professional (EDFP) certification
I started Coinfish Capital Advisors because I kept seeing good businesses turned down for fixable reasons. Coinfish does not lend or arrange loans; it helps owners prepare. Coinfish is a family of businesses that also includes Coinfish ATM Solutions.
